Best spot for afternoon tea in San Francisco

My favorite spot to get afternoon tea is at the Rotunda in SF. It is located in the heart of union square on the top floor of Neiman Marcus. You can either take the escalators up, or there is another side door where you can take an elevator directly to the top floor where you will find the iconic glass stained dome and view of union square.

Not only is the space insanely beautiful and elegant, the ambiance is very chill and relaxing. For the best view for photos, I requested a window seat which will put the dome behind you and the natural lighting is positioned perfectly.

Met up with @kaylakane, another Bay-Area based fashion content creator. How cute is her Chanel bag?

Afternoon tea service starts at 230pm on Sundays, and 3pm on weekdays. We went for the general afternoon tea service which is $54 per person. Each person gets a pot of freshly brewed tea, glass of champagne, and an assortment of tea sandwiches, pastries & jams, and bite sized desserts. For tea, I selected the Nuit A Versailles, which consists of a bergamot essential oil, kiwi, yellow peach, orange blossom, and violet blossom.

Tea service begins with a mini cup of soup (which sounds weird at first, but tastes so good). You will also get a popover with strawberry butter, which is my favorite. Then they will bring out the 3 tiered tray of pastries.

Prada Linen and Leather Tote (Found 2 here and here)

Finally had the chance to wear my new Prada tote out (found her on poshmark for $800). It is literally perfect for afternoon tea vibes. Overall, I highly recommend afternoon tea service here for any special occasion, or any occasion really. You can book a reservation through Opentable here. Parking is usually difficult to find in Union Square, so I recommend parking at the Ellis O’Farrell Parking Garage.

Next up, will be getting afternoon tea at the Palace Hotel this coming weekend, stay tuned for a review for that!
