If you've been following along on Instagram, you know that I went to Outside Lands, a 3 day music festival located at Golden Gate Park. SF summers are like soft winters, so it can be tricky dressing for this type of festival. Luckily, it was mostly warm during the day on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday turned out to be cold and foggy. Today, I'll be sharing what I wore and tips on attending Outside Lands. Also shoutout to Uber for sending me VIP passes to Tycho's Secret DJ Set at the Chapel in SF. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Uber on a new feature activation that drove users to request Tycho in the Uber app. Such a fun event to kickoff Outside Lands weekend.

I really enjoyed Outside Lands, because unlike other music festivals, it is very casual and chill. And because it's in the city, it is very convenient to attend.

My top 5 Tips:

1. Dress in layers. Bundle up.
Do not be fooled by the weather during the day or other parts of the city. It will get cold at night. I brought a daytime and nighttime jacket. My advice is to dress in layers, as the weather is extremely unpredictable.

2. Bring a clear backpack.
Read up on the festival rules. They had a clear backpack policy this year, so I picked up this clear backpack from Bota Backpack. So cute and great quality.

3. Download the Outside Lands app and add the artists you want to see into your schedule. You'll notice that there will be conflicting times, so plan accordingly. I was most excited to see Jamie XX, Billie Eilish, Borns, and Bon Iver.

4. Bring a power bank. This may seem like a no brainer, but you'll thank yourself for this one.

5. Come for the food. Stay for the music. Honestly at what other music festival can you get boba or lobster rolls? I stopped by my friend's booth, Fkcustard Bars for a matcha white chocolate bar which was so good. Highly recommend the Chairman's truck for their mouthwatering pork belly baos. Also stopped by Winelands and loved the wine I got from Scribe Winery.

DAY 03

On day 3, I opted for all black. And look who I ran into!!! How cute is Erica Luo?  Took the jacket off for this photo, but be warned. It gets very chilly!
